Beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you've been carrying anxiety, OCD, trauma, or other emotional challenges on your own for a long time. You might feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. At times, it can feel like your thoughts and emotions are constantly pulling you in different directions, making it difficult to find clarity, relief, or a sense of steadiness.

It can be intimidating to trust someone by taking the leap of sharing your personal journey, especially if you have felt isolated and unheard in the past. It’s also overwhelming to live with invisible struggles while trying to find your true self within societal expectations. My approach is warm, supportive, and insightful. I meet clients where they are, move at their pace, provide a safe place to examine struggles, and guide in self-discovery and personal growth.

It can feel overwhelming and tiresome to try and find a therapist who is the right fit for you. Perhaps you’ve had negative experiences in therapy in the past and the idea of catching someone new up on your life just feels daunting. In therapy sessions clients can expect me to show up as warm, understanding and kind. Clients express feeling very comfortable working with me and describe me as someone who, “just gets it,” often without them needing to fully explain something.

I hear from adults as well as kids and teens, that they worry that starting therapy means something is "wrong" with them. Parents often wonder if reaching out for help means that they haven't done enough. These worries can make the first step toward therapy feel overwhelming. I strive to shift this perspective by showing that seeking therapy is not a sign of weakness, but a wonderful opportunity to learn, grow, heal, and feel supported. My goal is to create a space where adults, children and teens feel safe, understood and encouraged to be themselves, while also helping parents of minor clients feel reassured that they don't have to navigate this journey alone.

Seeking therapy and sharing personal struggles with someone new can be overwhelming,
particularly when dealing with the hidden struggles of anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma or
major life changes. I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is the cornerstone
of effective therapy, and I am committed to fostering a strong, trusting connection with each of
my clients.

Living with the invisible burden of OCD, depression, anxiety, trauma and even navigating life transitions can be an isolating and scary experience. Sometimes this can make it more challenging to seek support and feel comfortable sharing your pain with others. In therapy sessions I show up as my authentic self and strive to provide a compassionate and empowering environment so that my clients can begin to live the life they deserve.
