Insurance
Our practice is an out-of-network insurance provider. This means we do not bill insurance directly, however, clients have two great options for utilizing their insurance benefits. We work with a company called Mentaya, which submits clients out-of-network claims for you. When you are eligible for reimbursement for sessions, you will then receive a check in the mail for reimbursement. Our practice covers the monthly membership costs of using Mentaya, and clients cover the 5% claim fee Mentaya charges per therapy session. This comes out to 5% of the cost of your therapy session. You can use the widget above to check your coverage within seconds. We find 70-90% of our clients are eligible for some type of reimbursement.
We are also happy to provide you with a superbill, which you may submit to your insurance company directly for reimbursement at no cost to you. A superbill serves as a receipt of therapy sessions, and is very commonly accepted. We would be glad to walk you through the process of submitting superbills to your insurance company, and to answer any questions you may have.
