Nicole Porter

MSW, LCSW, JD

Therapy can be a difficult process to begin. Clients often wonder if their therapist will be accepting and understanding; or if they’ll truly have the tools to help. As part of my practice, I want to understand your or your child or teen’s concerns about therapy, past or present, to help us form a strong, trusting relationship where authentic and lasting change can occur. No matter the concern presented, I strive to create a warm and accepting environment where clients can safely share whatever they’re struggling with. Together, we’ll work with proven therapeutic tools and evidence-based techniques to achieve meaningful, lasting results for you or your child or teen.

I believe that effective therapy combines compassion with collaboration. My goal is not only to help clients reduce distress but also to strengthen self-awareness, resilience, and confidence. Whether we’re addressing anxiety, OCD, trauma, perfectionism, or family dynamics, I approach every session with curiosity and respect for each person’s unique story. My role is to guide and empower you toward lasting growth so that you can navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence.

More Than Just My Work

My house stays busy with a rescue pup, Sophie, and two kittens, Toph and Katara. On weekends you can find me hiking, doing photography, and cheering on the Denver Broncos. On vacation, you can find me under the water as a scuba diver (and terrible underwater photographer!)
