Clients can expect a caring, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment in session with Isabella. She utilizes individualization and takes time to determine how she and her client may best work together. Isabella is personable and professional, incorporating her personality into her work to create a unique and comfortable atmosphere.
Isabella is in her final year as a Masters level candidate in the University of Denver clinical mental health counseling program. She is trained in applying exposure and response prevention (ERP), person-centered and strengths-based approaches, motivational interviewing and relational psychotherapy. She implements a humanistic approach in all therapy sessions. Additionally, Isabella has received clinical training in cognitive processing therapy and maintaining spiritual and religious competencies within the scope of the multicultural orientation framework. After completing graduate school, she plans on working towards obtaining licensure to become a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Isabella’s clinical background consists of working at an addiction treatment center in Colorado, and a treatment program in Illinois. Through these experiences, she has facilitated individual and group counseling, and has conducted biopsychosocial assessments to assist in treatment planning.
